Our licensed behavioral counseling staff

A behavioral health specialist is a role that covers the needs of individuals, couples, and families dealing with challenges in their everyday lives. They work with people to find productive solutions for their problems. All of our counselors are highly skilled and motivated to help our patients put their lives back together. Most of our drug and alcohol counselors are in recovery themselves! Our counselors are specialists in Substance Use Disorders, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, and other behavioral health conditions. We have specialists that work with adolescents also for a multitude of conditions.

OUR MEDICAL STAFF

Our board-certified medical providers include physicians, PAs, and nurse practitioners. They work with the integrated healthcare team on an individualized treatment plan to bring the highest quality of medication management to assist patients in reaching their treatment goals.

Medication-Assisted Treatment and on-site pharmacy

Medication assisted treatment (MAT) is the use of medications in combination with counseling and behavioral therapies for the treatment of substance use disorders and other behavioral problems, like anxiety or depression. Medications containing buprenorphine are commonly used with opioid use disorders. These medications include Suboxone and Zubsolv.  With our new On-site Pharmacy, those without insurance no longer have to struggle to pay for needed this needed medication to prevent withdrawal. We provide this generic medication at low cost or free to the uninsured depending on the program requirements and county participation so patients can stay in treatment. Also, the use of the on-site pharmacy allows all of our participants to keep their need for this prescription medication private - even from their local pharmacists and pharmacy techs.

*Use of these medications is NOT MANDATORY for participation in our program.

On-Site comprehensive laboratory testing

ICGH is the only treatment agency in the region to house its own COLA-Accredited, CLIA-approved comprehensive laboratory testing program. This includes the Gold Standard of lab testing, Liquid Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry, as well as an Enzyme Immunoassay Analyzer. Other agencies ship their specimens out in the mail to distant reference labs to be run with thousands of other specimens. The machines at the facilities endure much wear and tear. This results in lost samples, poorer quality of testing, and long wait times for results. This way, ICGH provides a higher quality of testing with faster results so our medical team can give the highest quality of care possible.

certified peer support specialists

Peer support occurs when people provide knowledge, experience, emotional, social or practical help to each other. A Certified Peer Support Specialist (PSS)  is a person with significant life-altering, lived experience. These specialists support individuals with struggles pertaining to mental health, psychological trauma, or substance use.  At ICGH, we have a team of certified Peer Support Specialists in long-term recovery to work with you.
